12 So when all the people came to the king on the third day as he had appointed, saying, Come to me again on the third day,
13 the king answered the people roughly. He slighted the counsel of the old men, which they had given him,
14 and spoke to them, in the manner the young men advised, saying, My father made your yoke heavy but I will add to your yoke. My father chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions.
