1 Then when they came near to Jerusalem, to Bethphage and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, He sent forth two of His disciples,
2 and said to them, "Go your way into the village before you: And as soon as you all have entered into it, you all shall find a colt tied, upon which no man ever sat; loose him, and bring him.
3 And if anyone says to you, 'Why are you doing this?' say that, 'The Lord has need of him'; and immediately he will send him here."
4 And they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door outside in a place where two roads met; and they loosed him.
5 Then some of them that stood there said to them, "What are you doing, loosing the colt?"
6 And they said to them according to how Jesus had commanded: And they let them go.
7 Then they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and He sat upon him.
