Sawyer⁽ⁱ⁾ ²⁰ Our fathers worshipped in this mountain, and you say that Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. ²¹ Jesus said to her, Believe me, woman, the hour comes, when neither in this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, you shall worship the Father. ²² You worship what you know not; we worship what we know; for salvation is of the Jews. ²³ But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father seeks such to worship him. ²⁴ God is a Spirit, and those that worship him must worship in spirit and truth.
