1 John 4:20-5:1 If any one says, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he that loves not his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?

Sawyer⁽ⁱ⁾ ²⁰ If any one says, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he that loves not his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? ²¹ And we have this commandment from him, that he who loves God should also love his brother. ⁵ ¹ ^(2:6) Every one who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and every one who loves the Father loves also the Son who is born to him.
