37 They said, "Grant that one of us may sit on your right hand and the other on your left hand in your glory."
38 Jesus said to them, "You do not know what you are asking. Can you drink the cup that I drink or be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?"
39 They said to him, "We can." Jesus said, "The cup that I drink you will drink, and you will be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with;
40 but to sit on my right or my left is not mine to give, but it will be for those for whom it has been prepared."
41 When the ten heard about this, they became indignant at James and John.
