Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I make much of my ministry: ¹⁴ That I might provoke to envy my own people, and might save some of them. ¹⁵ For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what shall their acceptance be, but life from the dead? ¹⁶ For if the piece of dough offered as firstfruits is holy, then the whole lump is also holy: and if the root is holy, so are the branches. ¹⁷ And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among them, and with them partake in the rich root of the olive tree;
