RKJNT(i)
So they watched him, and sent forth spies, who pretended to be sincere, that they might catch him in his words, that they might deliver him to the power and authority of the governor.
And they asked him, Teacher, we know that you speak and teach correctly, and that you are not partial to any person, but teach the way of God truly:
Is it lawful for us to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?
But he perceived their craftiness, and said to them,
Show me a denarius. Whose image and inscription are on it? They answered, Caesar's.
And he said to them, Then render to Caesar the things which are Caesar's, and to God the things which are God's.
And they could not trap him in what he said before the people: they marvelled at his answer, and held their peace.
