1 Corinthians 3:10-15 According to the grace of God which is given to me, as a wise master builder, I have laid the foundation, and another builds upon it. But let every man take heed how he builds upon it.

But let every man take heed how he builds upon it. ¹¹ For no other foundation can man lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. ¹² Now if any man builds upon this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw; ¹³ Each man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall test the quality of every man's work. ¹⁴ If any man's work remains, which he has built upon it, he shall receive a reward. ¹⁵ If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; but only as through fire.
