And Carmel shall be desolate, and Carmel shall be reckoned as a forest. ¹⁶ And judgment shall rest in the wilderness, and righteousness shall dwell in Carmel. ¹⁷ And the works of righteousness shall be peace, and righteousness shall obtain rest, and they shall be confident ones for ever. ¹⁸ And his people shall dwell in a city of peace, and shall dwell in confidence, and they shall rest amid wealth. ¹⁹ And the hail, if it descend, shall not come upon you. And they that dwell in the forests shall be confident, as they in the plain. ²⁰ Blessed are they that sow upon every water, where ox and ass treadeth.
