Romans 8:5-8 For they who are according to the flesh have their mind on the things of the flesh; but they who are according to the Spirit, on the things of the Spirit.

Noyes⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁵ For they who are according to the flesh have their mind on the things of the flesh; but they who are according to the Spirit, on the things of the Spirit. ⁶ For the mind of the flesh is death; but the mind of the Spirit life and peace. ⁷ Because the mind of the flesh is enmity against God; for it doth not submit itself to the Law of God, neither indeed can it. ⁸ And they who are in the flesh cannot please God.
