Acts 10:1-4

Noyes(i) 1 Now a certain man in Caesarea, named Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band, 2 a devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, giving much alms to the people, and praying to God always, 3 saw in a vision plainly, about the ninth hour of the day, an angel of God coming in to him, and saying to him, Cornelius! 4 And he, looking steadily at him, and becoming affrighted, said, What is it, Lord? And he said to him, Thy prayers and thine alms have come up for a memorial before God.
