Revelation 12:9-12 The great dragon was thrown down, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, who deceives the whole world. He was hurled down to the earth, and his angels with him.

He was hurled down to the earth, and his angels with him. ¹⁰ I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, »Now has come the salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power (authority) of his Christ: for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accused them before our God day and night. ¹¹ They conquered (overcame) him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they did not love their lives when faced with death. ¹² Therefore rejoice (be glad), you heavens, and you that dwell in them. But woe to the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having fierce anger, because he knows that he has only a short time.«
