1 Six days afterwards Jesus took Peter, James and his brother John, and led them up a high hill by themselves;
2 in their presence he was transfigured, his face shone like the sun, and his clothes turned white as light.
3 There appeared to them Moses and Elijah, who conversed with Jesus.
