Acts 18:4-6

Moffatt(i) 4 Every sabbath he argued in the synagogue, persuading both Jews and Greeks. 5 By the time Silas and Timotheus came south from Macedonia, Paul was engrossed in this preaching of the word, arguing to the Jews that the messiah was Jesus. 6 But as they opposed and abused him, he shook out his garments in protest, saying, "Your blood be on your own heads! I am not responsible! After this I will go to the Gentiles."
