Moffatt⁽ⁱ⁾ ²⁸ Let a man test himself; then he can eat from the loaf and drink from the cup. ²⁹ For he who eats and drinks without a proper sense of the Body, eats and drinks to his own condemnation. ³⁰ That is why many of you are ill and infirm, and a number even dead. ³¹ If we only judged our own lives truly, we would not come under the Lord's judgment. ³² As it is, we are chastened when we are judged by him, so that we may not be condemned along with the world.
