Joshua 5:1 And when al the kinges of the Amorites which are on thys syde Iordan to the seaward, & al the kinges of the Cananites which lye on the sea hearde, howe the Lorde had dryed vp the water of Iordan before the chyldren of Israel, vntyl they were ouer, theyr hertes faynted in them. And there was no sprete in them any more, for feare of the commynge of the chyldren of Israel.
