Matthew(i)
20 There were certayne Grekes among them, that came to praye at the feaste:
21 the same came to Phylyppe which was of Bethsayda a citie in Galile, and desiered hym, saiynge: Syr we woulde fayne se Iesus.
22 Phylip came and told Andrewe. And agayne Andrewe and Philip tolde Iesus.
23 And Iesus aunswered them sayinge: The houre is come that the sonne of man must be glorifyed.
24 Verelye verelye I saye to you, excepte the wheate corne fall into the grounde and dye, it bydeth alone. If it dye, it bringeth forth much frute.
25 He that loueth hys lyfe, shall destroy it: and he that hateth hys lyfe in this world, shal kepe it vnto lyfe eternall.
26 If any man minister vnto me, let hym folowe me, and where I am, there shal also my minister be. And yf any man minister vnto me, hym wyll my father honoure.
