9 Then wente Haman forthe the same daye ioyfull and mery in his mynde. And when he sawe Mardocheus in the kinges gate, that he stode not vp and kneled before him, he was ful of indygnacyon at Mardocheus.
10 Neuertheles he refrayned him selfe, and when he came home, he sent, & called for his frendes and Zares hys wyfe,
11 & tolde them of the glory of hys ryches, & the multitude of hys chyldren all together how the king had promoted him so greatly, and howe that he was taken aboue the princes and seruauntes of the kynge.
12 Haman said moreouer: Ye, and Ehster the quene let no man come with the king vnto the bancket that she had prepared, except me, & to morowe am I bidden vnto her also with the king.
13 But in all this am I not satisfyed as longe as I se Mardocheus the Iewe syttynge at the kynges gate.
14 Then sayde Zares hys wyfe & al hys frendes vnto hym: Let them make a galowes of fyfty cubytes hye, and to morow speake thou vnto the king that Mardocheus may be hanged theron, yf thou commest merely wyth the kynge vnto the bancket. Haman was well content wyth all, and caused a galowes to be prepared.
