Matthew(i)
5 And as sone as the worde came abroade the chyldren of Israel brought aboundance of fyrste fruites of corne, wyne, olye and hony, and of all maner of fruites of the feld: and the tythes of all maner of thynges brought they in plenteously.
6 And the chyldren of Israel and Iuda that dwelte in the cyties of Iuda, they also brought in the tythes of oxen & shepe, and tythes of dedycate thynges which were dedicated to the Lorde theyr God, and put them on heapes.
7 In the thirde moneth they beganne to laye the heapes, and fynesshed them the seuenth.
8 And when Hezekiah, and the Lordes came and saw the heapes, they blessed the Lorde and his people Israel.
9 And Hezekiah questioned with the priestes and the Leuites concernynge the heapes.
10 And Azariah the chefe prieste of the house of Zadock aunswered hym and sayde: sense they beganne to bringe the heaue offeringes into the house of the Lorde, we haue eaten and had ynough, and yet lefte aboundaunce, for the Lorde hath blessed his people, and therof is thys heape lefte.
