John 20:26-31

Mace(i) 26 Eight days after, when his disciples were again in private, and Thomas with them: Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, peace be with you. 27 then said he to Thomas, reach hither thy finger, and examine my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. 28 Thomas answered, and said to him, my Lord and my God! 29 Jesus said to him, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they who have not seen, and yet have believed. 30 Jesus perform'd many other miracles in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book. 31 but these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Messias, the son of God, and that believing ye might have life through his name.
