Mace⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹² this is my commandment, that ye love one another, as I have loved you. ¹³ there cannot be greater love than that of a man, who lays down his life for his friends. ¹⁴ you will be my friends, if you do what I have commanded you. ¹⁵ henceforth I do not treat you as servants; for the servant is unacquainted with his master's affairs: but I have treated you as friends; for what I have learnt of my father, I have communicated to you.
