Romans 9:11-23

MLV(i) 11 for the children not yet having been born, nor having practiced anything good or evil, in order that the purpose of God according to his choice might abide, not from works, but from the one who is calling. 12 It was said to her, ‘The greater will be serving the inferior.’ 13 Just-as it has been written, ‘Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.’
14 Therefore what shall we say? There is not unrighteousness with God, is there? Let it not happen! 15 For he says to Moses, ‘I will show-mercy to whomever I show-mercy and I will have pity on whomever I have pity.’ 16 Therefore consequently, it is not from the one who wills, nor from the one who runs, but from God, the one who shows-mercy. 17 For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, ‘I have lifted you up for this same thing, that I myself might show in you my power and that my name might be thoroughly proclaimed in all the earth.’ 18 Therefore consequently, he shows-mercy on whom he wills and he hardens whom he wills.
19 Therefore you will say to me, Why is he still finding-fault? For who is standing against his will? 20 But-rather, O man, who are you who answers back against God? The molded thing will not say to the one who molded it, why did you make me so, will it? 21 Or does the potter not have authority over the clay, to make out of the same batch one vessel for honor and another for dishonor? 22 But what if God, willing to show his wrath and to make his power known, carried us, vessels of wrath having been framed for destruction, in much patience; 23 and in order that he might make known the riches of his glory upon vessels of mercy, which he prepared beforehand for glory,
