MLV⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁴ Now to the one who is working, the reward is not counted according to favor, but according to debt. ⁵ But to the one who is not working, but believes on the one who makes righteous the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. ⁶ Just-as David also says concerning the good-fortune of the man to whom God counts righteousness separate from works, ⁷ saying, ‘Those whose lawlessnesses are forgiven and whose sins are covered are fortunate. ⁸ The man to whom the Lord may never count sin, is fortunate.’
