Psalms 8

MLV(i) 1 O Jehovah, our Lord, how excellent is your name in all the earth, who has set your glory upon the heavens!
2 Out of the mouth of babes and nursing-babes you have perfected praise, because of your adversaries, that you might make the enemy and the avenger cease.
3 Because I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have established, 4 what is man that you remember him? And the son of man that you care for him? 5 Yet you have made him but a little lower than messengers and crowned him with glory and honor.
6 You make him to have dominion over the works of your hands. You have put all things under his feet. 7 All sheep and oxen, yes and the beasts of the field, 8 the birds of the heavens and the fish of the sea, whatever passes through the paths of the seas.
9 O Jehovah, our Lord, how excellent is your name in all the earth!
