MLV(i)
But they said to him again, What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?
He answered them, I spoke to you already and you did not hear; why are you wishing to hear it again? Do you wish also to become his disciples?
They reviled him and said, You are a disciple of that man, but we are disciples of Moses. 29 We know that God has spoken to Moses, but this one, we do not know where he is from.
The man answered and said to them, For a marvelous thing is in this, because you do not know where he is from and yet he opened my eyes. 31 But we know that God does not hear sinners, but if anyone is God-fearing and if he is practicing his will, he hears him. 32 It has not been heard from the beginning of the world, that anyone has opened the eyes of one who had been born blind. 33 If this one was not from God, he would be unable to do anything.
