7 Now the grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of the gift of the Christ.
8 Hence he says, ‘When he ascended onto high, he captured captivity and gave presents to men.’
9 Now this saying, He ascended, (what is it saying?) except that he also came down into the downward parts of the earth first?
10 He who came down is also the same as he who ascended up above all the heavens, in order that he might fill all things.
11 And he gave some to be : the apostles, and the prophets, and the evangelists, and the shepherds and teachers 12 for the equipping of the holy-ones, for the work of the service, for the building up of the body of the Christ, 13 till we all might achieve to the unity of the faith and of the full knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of the Christ,
