MLV⁽ⁱ⁾ ²⁰ But now Christ has been raised up from the dead, he became the first-fruit of those who have fallen-asleep. ²¹ For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead also came through a man. ²² For just-as all die in Adam, so all will also be given-life in Christ. ²³ But each in his own order: Christ the first-fruit; thereafter those who are Christ’s in his presence. ²⁴ Thereafter is the end, whenever he gives up the kingdom to the God and Father; whenever he does-away-with all rule and all authority and power. ²⁵ For it is essential for him to reign, till whenever, he should place all his enemies under his feet. ²⁶ The last enemy done-away-with is death.
