18 Now John's disciples had informed him of all these things,
19 and he called two of them, whom he sent to Jesus, to ask him, Are you He who comes, or must we expect another?
20 Being come to him, they said, John the Immerser has sent us to ask you, Are you He who comes, or must we expect another?
21 At that very time Jesus was delivering man from diseases and maladies, and evil spirits, and giving sight to many, who were blind.
22 And he returned this answer, Go, and report to John what you have seen and heard: the blind are made to see, the lame to walk, the deaf to hear; the leprous are cleansed, the dead are raised, glad tidings are brought to the poor.
23 And happy is he to whom I shall not prove a stumbling block.
