Hebrews 2:6-13

Living_Oracles(i) 6 But one in a certain place has testified, saying, "What is man that thou art mindful of him-or the son of man, that thou dost regard him? 7 Thou hast made him a little lower than the angels; thou hast crowned him with glory and honor, 8 thou hast put all things under his feet." Now, by putting all things in subjection to him, he left nothing that is not subject to him; but now, we do not yet see all things subjected to him; 9 but we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, that he, by the favor of God, might taste death for all; for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor! 10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, to make him, who leads many sons to glory-even the Captain of their Salvation-perfect through sufferings. 11 For both he who sanctifies, and they who are sanctified, are all of one Father; for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren; 12 saying, "I will announce thy name to my brethren: in the midst of the congregation I will sing praises to thee." 13 And, again, "I will put my trust in him." And again, "Behold I, and the children whom God has given me."
