Hebrews 2:6-13 But one in a certain place has testified, saying, "What is man that thou art mindful of him-or the son of man, that thou dost regard him?

Living_Oracles⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁶ But one in a certain place has testified, saying, "What is man that thou art mindful of him-or the son of man, that thou dost regard him? ⁷ Thou hast made him a little lower than the angels; thou hast crowned him with glory and honor, ⁸ thou hast put all things under his feet." Now, by putting all things in subjection to him, he left nothing that is not subject to him; but now, we do not yet see all things subjected to him; ⁹ but we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, that he, by the favor of God, might taste death for all; for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor! ¹⁰ For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, to make him, who leads many sons to glory-even the Captain of their Salvation-perfect through sufferings. ¹¹ For both he who sanctifies, and they who are sanctified, are all of one Father; for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren; ¹² saying, "I will announce thy name to my brethren: in the midst of the congregation I will sing praises to thee." ¹³ And, again, "I will put my trust in him." And again, "Behold I, and the children whom God has given me."
