Lamsa⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹ AND I looked, and, lo, the Lamb stood on mount Sion, and with him a hundred forty and four thousand in number, having the name of his Father written on their brows. ² Then I heard a voice from heaven, as the sound of many waters, and as the sound of a great thunder: and the voice I heard was as the music of many harpists playing on their harps: ³ And they sang a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts and the elders: and no man was able to learn that song, except the hundred forty and four thousand who were redeemed from the earth. ⁴ These are those who were not defiled with women for they are virgins. These are those who follow the Lamb wheresoever he goes. These were redeemed by Jesus, from among men, to be the first fruits to God and to the Lamb. ⁵ And in their mouth was found no deceit: for they are without fault.
