Ezekiel 24:21-25 Speak to the house of Israel, So says the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will profane My sanctuary, the pride of your strength, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pities. And your sons and your daughters whom you have forsaken shall fall by the sword.

You shall not cover over the mustache, and you shall not eat the bread of men. ²³ And your turbans shall be on your heads and your sandals on your feet. You shall not wail nor weep, but you shall rot away in your iniquities, and each man groan to his brother. ²⁴ So Ezekiel is for a sign to you. As all that he has done, you shall do. And when it comes, then you shall know that I am the Lord Jehovah. ²⁵ And you, son of man, will it not be on the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their beauty, the desire of their eyes, and the lifting up of their soul, their sons and their daughters?
