²⁷ Then he took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you, ²⁸ because this is my blood of the new covenant that is being poured out for many people for the forgiveness of sins. ²⁹ I tell all of you I will never again drink the product of the vine until that day when I drink it with you once again in my Father’s kingdom.”
