Psalms 86:1-17

ECB(i) 1 A Prayer by David. Spread your ear, O Yah Veh; answer me; for I am humble and needy: 2 guard my soul; for I am mercied: O you, my Elohim, save your servant who confides in you; 3 grant me charism, O Adonay, for I call to you all day: 4 cheer the soul of your servant for to you, O Adonay, I lift my soul: 5 for you, O Adonay, are good and forgiving - abundant in mercy to all who call on you. 6 Hearken, O Yah Veh, to my prayer; hearken to the voice of my supplications: 7 in the day of my tribulation I call on you for you answer me: 8 Among the elohim, no one is likened to you, O Adonay; no works like yours. 9 All the goyim you worked come and prostrate at your face, O Adonay, and honor your name: 10 for you are great and work marvels; you alone are Elohim. 11 Teach me your way, O Yah Veh; I walk in your truth: unify my heart to awe your name. 12 I spread hands to you, O Adonay my Elohim, with all my heart; and honor your name eternally. 13 For great is your mercy toward me; you rescue my soul from the nethermost sheol. 14 O Elohim, the arrogant rise against me and the witnesses of tyrants seek my soul; they set you not in front of them. 15 But you, O Adonay, are El - full of mercy and charismatic; slow to wrath and abundant in mercy and truth. 16 O face me, and grant me charism; give your servant strength and save the son of your maid: 17 work me a sign for good; that they who hate me see it and shame: because you, O Yah Veh, help me and sigh over me.
