ECB⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁵³ though Babel ascends to the heavens, and though she fortify the height of her strength, my ravagers come to her - an oracle of Yah Veh. ⁵⁴ A voice of a cry from Babel, and great breaking from the land of the Kesediym: ⁵⁵ because Yah Veh ravages Babel, and destroys from her the great voice; when her waves roar as great waters, an uproar of their voice is given: ⁵⁶ because the ravager comes on her - on Babel and her mighty are captured; every one of their bows break: for Yah Veh El of dealings in shalaming, shalams: ⁵⁷ and I intoxicate her governors and her wise - her governors and her prefects and her mighty: and they sleep an eternal sleep and waken not - an oracle of the Sovereign whose name is Yah Veh Sabaoth.
