11 and now give spread hands to Yah Veh Elohim of your fathers; and work his pleasure and separate yourselves from the people of the land and from the strange women.
12 And all the congregation answers and says with a great voice, According to your word, we work:
13 but the people are many and it is a time of much rain; and we have neither force to stand outside nor is this a work of one day or two: for we abound with them who rebel in this word:
14 O that it please our governors of all the congregation to stand and have all who settle strange women in our cities come with the elders and the judges at appointed times - city by city until the fuming wrath of our Elohim for this word turns from us.
15 Only, Yah Nathan the son of Asa El and Yachazi Yah the son of Tiqvah stand against this; and Meshullam and Shabbethay the Leviy help them;
16 and the sons of the exile work thus; and Ezra the priest with men - heads of the fathers of the house of their fathers and all who, by name, separate and settle in the first day of the tenth month to examine the word.
