PROPHECY AGAINST THE MOUNTAINS OF YISRA EL
And you, son of humanity, prophesy to the mountains of Yisra El, and say, You mountains of Yisra El, hear the word of Yah Veh: 2 Thus says Adonay Yah Veh: Because the enemy says against you, Aha, even the eternal bamahs are for us in possession: 3 so prophesy and say, Thus says Adonay Yah Veh: Because - yes, because they desolate you and swallow you all around to be a possession to the survivors of the goyim, and ascend you on the lips of tongues - a slander of the people: 4 so, O mountains of Yisra El, hear the word of Adonay Yah Veh; Thus says Adonay Yah Veh to the mountains and to the hills; to the reservoirs and to the valleys; to the desolated parches and to the forsaken cities - to become a plunder and derision to the survivors of the goyim all around; 5 So thus says Adonay Yah Veh: Surely in the fire of my jealousy I word against the survivors of the goyim and against all Edom, who give my land as their own possession with cheerfulness of all their heart, with despite of soul - a suburb to plunder. 6 So, prophesy concerning the soil of Yisra El; and say to the mountains and to the hills; to the reservoirs and to the valleys, Thus says Adonay Yah Veh: Behold, I word in my jealousy and in my fury because you bear the shame of the goyim. 7 So thus says Adonay Yah Veh: I lift my hand; surely the goyim all around you bear their shame: 8 and you, O mountains of Yisra El, give your branches and bear your fruit to my people of Yisra El; for they approach to come. 9 For, behold, I am for you and I face to you; and serve and seed you: 10 and I abound humanity on you - all the house of Yisra El - all thereof to settle the cities and build the parched areas: 11 and I abound on you humanity and animal; and they abound and bear fruit: and I settle you after your former estates and do better to you than at your beginnings: and you know I - Yah Veh. 12 Yes, I walk humanity all over you - my people Yisra El; and they possess you and you become their inheritance; and you add not to bereave them. 13 Thus says Adonay Yah Veh: Because they say to you, You eat humans and bereave your goyim: 14 So you neither eat humans any more nor bereave your goyim any more - an oracle of Adonay Yah Veh 15 - nor hear the shame of the goyim any more nor bear the reproach of the people any more nor that your goyim falter any more - an oracle of Adonay Yah Veh. 16 And so be the word of Yah Veh to me, saying, 17 Son of humanity, the house of Yisra El settles in their own soil; they foul it by their own way and by their exploits: their way is at my face as the foulness of one excluded: 18 and I pour my fury on them for the blood they pour on the land, and for their idols with which they foul it: 19 and I scatter them among the goyim, and disperse them through the lands: according to their way and according to their exploits I judge them: 20 and they approach the goyim where they approach; they profane my holy name, saying to them, These are the people of Yah Veh, who come from his land. 21 And I compassion my holy name which the house of Yisra El profanes among the goyim wherever they go. 22 So say to the house of Yisra El, Thus says Adonay Yah Veh: I work this, not for your sakes, O house of Yisra El, but for sake of my holy name - which you profane among the goyim, wherever you go: 23 and I hallow my great name profaned among the goyim - which you profane among them; and the goyim know I - Yah Veh - an oracle of Adonay Yah Veh when I am hallowed in you in front of their eyes. 24 For I take you from among the goyim and gather you from all lands and bring you into your own soil: 25 and I sprinkle pure water on you and purify you: from all your foulness and from all your idols I purify you: 26 and I give you a new heart and a new spirit I give within you: and I turn aside the stony heart from your flesh and I give you an heart of flesh: 27 and I give my spirit within you so that you work to walk in my statutes and guard my judgments and work them 28 and I settle you in the land I gave your fathers: and you become my people and I become your Elohim: 29 and I save you from all your foulnesses: and I call for the crop and abound it; and give no famine on you: 30 and I abound the fruit of the tree and the produce of the field that you take no more reproach of famine among the goyim. 31 Then you remember your own evil ways and your no good exploits; and loathe at your face for your perversities and for your abhorrences. 32 I work this not for your sakes - an oracle of Adonay Yah Veh thus be it known to you: shame and confound for your own ways, O house of Yisra El. 33 Thus says Adonay Yah Veh: In the day I purify you from all your perversities I also settle you in the cities, and build the parched areas: 34 and the desolated land is served instead of becoming desolate in the eyes of all who pass by. 35 And they say, This desolated land is as the garden of Eden; and the parched and desolated and demolished cities fortified and settled. 36 And the goyim who survive all around you know that I - Yah Veh build the demolished and plant the desolated: I Yah Veh worded, and I work. 37 Thus says Adonay Yah Veh: Yet for this I am enquired of by the house of Yisra El to work it for them; I abound them with humanity as a flock 38 - as the holy flock - as the flock of Yeru Shalem in her seasons; thus the parched cities are filled with flocks of humanity: and they know I - Yah Veh.
