YOSHI YAH REIGNS IN YERU SHALEM
Yoshi Yah is a son of eight years when he begins to reign; and he reigns thirty-one years in Yeru Shalem: and the name of his mother, Yedidah the daughter of Ada Yah of Bosqath. 2 And he works straight in the eyes of Yah Veh and walks in all the way of David his father and turns not aside to the right or to the left. 3 And so be it, in the eighteenth year of sovereign Yoshi Yah, the sovereign sends Shaphan the son of Asal Yah the son of Meshullam the scribe to the house of Yah Veh saying, 3 and the sovereign stands by a pillar and cuts a covenant at the face of Yah Veh - to walk after Yah Veh and to guard his misvoth and his witnesses and his statutes with all their heart and all their soul - to raise the words of this covenant inscribed in this scroll: and all the people stand to the covenant. 4 Ascend to Hilqi Yah the great priest, to consummate the silver brought into the house of Yah Veh which the guards of the threshold gathered of the people: 4 And the sovereign misvahs Hilqi Yah the great priest and the priests of the second order and the guards of the threshold - to bring from the manse of Yah Veh all the instruments worked for Baal and for the asherah and for all the host of the heavens: and he burns them outside Yeru Shalem in the fields of Qidron; and lifts their dust to Beth El. 5 to give it into the hand of the workers who oversee the work of the house of Yah Veh - to give it to the workers of the work in the house of Yah Veh to strengthen the breaches of the house 6 - to carvers and builders and wallers - to chattel timber and hew stone to strengthen the house: 7 only, fabricate not with them the silver given into their hand because they work trustworthily. 8 And Hilqi Yah the great priest says to Shaphan the scribe, I found the scroll of the torah in the house of Yah Veh. And Hilqi Yah gives the scroll to Shaphan and he calls it out. 9 And Shaphan the scribe comes to the sovereign and returns word to the sovereign and says, Your servants melted the silver found in the house and gave it to the hand of them who work the work - who oversee the house of Yah Veh. 10 And Shaphan the scribe tells the sovereign saying, Hilqi Yah the priest gives me a scroll: and Shaphan calls it out at the face of the sovereign: 11 and so be it, the sovereign hears the words of the scroll of the torah and he rips his clothes. 12 And the sovereign misvahs Hilqi Yah the priest and Achiy Qam the son of Shaphan and Achbor the son of Michah Yah and Shaphan the scribe and Asah Yah a servant of the sovereign saying, 13 Go you, enquire of Yah Veh for me and for the people and for all Yah Hudah concerning the words of this scroll they found: for the great fury of Yah Veh kindles against us; because our fathers hearkened not to the words of this scroll - to work according to all inscribed concerning us. 14 And Hilqi Yah the priest and Achiy Qam and Achbor and Shaphan and Asah Yah go to Huldah the prophetess the woman of Shallum the son of Tiqvah the son of Harchas the guard of the clothes; - and she settles in Yeru Shalem - in the second and they word with her. 15 And she says to them, Thus says Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El, Say to the man who sends you to me, 16 Thus says Yah Veh, Behold, I bring evil on this place and the settlers thereof - all the words of the scroll the sovereign of Yah Hudah calls out: 17 because they forsake me and incense to other elohim - to vex me with all the works of their hands; I kindle my fury against this place and quench not. 18 And to the sovereign of Yah Hudah who sends you to enquire of Yah Veh, say thus to him: Thus says Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El - the words you heard; 19 because you tenderized your heart and humbled yourself at the face of Yah Veh, when you heard what I worded against this place and against the settlers thereof - that they become a desolation and an abasement and you ripped your clothes and wept at my face; I also hear - an oracle of Yah Veh. 20 So behold, I gather you to your fathers - gather you to your tomb in shalom that your eyes not see all the evil I bring on this place. - and they return word to the sovereign.
