6 It is but gain great the piety with a competency.

9 Those but wishing to be rich, fall into a temptation and a snare, and desires many foolish and hurtful, which sink deep the men into destruction and ruin.
10 A root for of all of the evils is the love of money; which some longing after wandered from the faith, and themselves pierced around with sorrows many.
