CLV⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹⁶ And the scribes of the Pharisees, perceiving Him also that He ate with the tribute collectors and the sinners, said to His disciples, "Wherefore is it that your teacher is eating and drinking with the tribute collectors and the sinners? ¹⁷ And, hearing it, Jesus is saying to them that "No need have the strong of a physician, but those having an illness. I did not come to call the just, but sinners." ¹⁸ And the disciples of John and the Pharisees were fasting, and they are coming and saying to Him, "Wherefore are the disciples of John and the disciples of the Pharisees fasting, yet your disciples are not fasting?
