Job 5:1-5 Call now! is there anyone who will answer you? And to which of the holy ones shall you face?

CLV⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹ Call now! is there anyone who will answer you? And to which of the holy ones shall you face? ² Indeed vexation shall kill the foolish man, And jealousy shall put the simple one to death. ³ I myself have seen the foolish man taking root, And I reviled his homestead suddenly. ⁴ May his sons go far from safety, And may they be crushed in the gate when there is no rescuer. ⁵ His harvest, the hungry one shall eat, And he shall take it away to secluded places; Those thirsting will gasp for their estate.
