CLV⁽ⁱ⁾ ²⁰ But the prophet who shall act arrogantly by speaking a word in My name which I did not instruct him to speak, or who shall speak in the name of other elohim, that prophet must die. ²¹ In case you should say in your heart:How shall we know the word that Yahweh has not spoken? ²² When a prophet shall speak in the name of Yahweh, and the word shall neither come to be nor come about, then it is a word that Yahweh did not speak, In arrogance did the prophet speak it. You shall not shrink away from him in awe.
