Genesis 3:13-17 (3:14) And the Lord God said to the woman, Why have you done this? And the woman said, The serpent deceived me, and I ate.

And the woman said, The serpent deceived me, and I ate. ¹⁴ ^(3:15) And the Lord God said to the serpent, Because you have done this, you are cursed above all cattle and all the brutes of the earth; on your breast and belly you shall go, and you shall eat dust all the days of your life. ¹⁵ ^(3:16) And I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your seed and her Seed, He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel. ¹⁶ ^(3:17) And to the woman He said, I will greatly multiply your pains and your groanings; in pain you shall bring forth children, and your submission shall be to your husband, and he shall rule over you. ¹⁷ ^(3:18) And to Adam He said, Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and eaten of the tree of which I commanded you not to eat of it — of that you have eaten, cursed is the ground in your labors, in pain shall you eat of it all the days of your life.
