Matthew 21:1-11

BLB(i) 1 And when they drew near to Jerusalem and came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples, 2 saying to them, “Go into the village in front of you, and immediately you will find a donkey having been tied, and a colt with her. Having untied them, bring them to Me, 3 and if anyone says anything to you, you will say that the Lord has need of them, and he will send them immediately.” 4 And this came to pass, that it might be fulfilled that having been spoken by the prophet, saying, 5 “Say to the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold, your King comes to you, gentle and mounted on a donkey, even upon a colt, the foal of a beast of burden.’” 6 And the disciples having gone and having done as Jesus commanded them, 7 brought the donkey and the colt and put their cloaks upon them, and He sat on them. 8 And the very great crowd spread their the cloaks on the road, and others were cutting down branches from the trees and were spreading them on the road. 9 And the crowds going before Him and those following were crying out, saying: “Hosanna to the Son of David!” “Blessed is the One coming in the name of the Lord!” “Hosanna in the highest!” 10 And of Him having entered into Jerusalem, all the city was stirred, saying, “Who is this?” 11 And the crowds were saying, “This is the prophet, Jesus, the One from Nazareth of Galilee.”
