Matthew 13:36-43 Then having dismissed the crowds, He went into the house. And His disciples came to Him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds of the field.”

BLB⁽ⁱ⁾ ³⁶ Then having dismissed the crowds, He went into the house. And His disciples came to Him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds of the field.” ³⁷ And answering He said, “The One sowing the good seed is the Son of Man; ³⁸ and the field is the world; and the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the weeds are the sons of the evil one; ³⁹ and the enemy having sown them is the devil; and the harvest is the consummation of the age; and the harvesters are angels. ⁴⁰ Therefore, as the weeds are gathered and consumed in fire, so will it be in the consummation of the age. ⁴¹ The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all the stumbling blocks and those practicing lawlessness, ⁴² and they will cast them into the furnace of fire, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. ⁴³ Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. The one having ears, let him hear!
