John 4:6-10

BLB(i) 6 And Jacob’s well was there. Therefore Jesus, being wearied from the journey, thus was sitting at the well. The hour was about the sixth. 7 A woman out of Samaria comes to draw water. Jesus says to her, “Give Me to drink.” 8 For His disciples had gone away into the city, that they might buy food. 9 Therefore the Samaritan woman says to Him, “How do You, being a Jew, ask drink from me, being a Samaritan woman?” For Jews have no association with Samaritans. 10 Jesus answered and said to her, “If you had known the gift of God and who it is saying to you, ‘Give Me to drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given to you living water.”
