BLB⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹⁴ If you are insulted in the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. ¹⁵ For let not any of you suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or an evildoer, or as a troublesome meddler, ¹⁶ but if as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this name. ¹⁷ For it is the time for the judgment to have begun from the house of God; and if from us first, what will be the outcome of those disobeying the gospel of God? ¹⁸ And, “If the righteous one is saved with difficulty, where will appear the ungodly and sinner?”
