BIB⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁷⁸ διὰ (through) σπλάγχνα (the affections) ἐλέους (of compassion) Θεοῦ (of God) ἡμῶν (of us), ἐν (in) οἷς (which) ἐπισκέψεται (will visit) ἡμᾶς (us) ἀνατολὴ (the Sunrise) ἐξ (from) ὕψους (on high), ⁷⁹ ἐπιφᾶναι (to shine upon) τοῖς (those) ἐν (in) σκότει (darkness) καὶ (and) σκιᾷ (in the shadow) θανάτου (of death) καθημένοις (sitting); τοῦ (-) κατευθῦναι (to direct) τοὺς (the) πόδας (feet) ἡμῶν (of us) εἰς (into) ὁδὸν (the way) εἰρήνης (of peace).” ⁸⁰ Τὸ (-) δὲ (And) παιδίον (the child) ηὔξανεν (continued to grow) καὶ (and) ἐκραταιοῦτο (was strengthened) πνεύματι (in spirit); καὶ (and) ἦν (he was) ἐν (in) ταῖς (the) ἐρήμοις (deserted places) ἕως (until) ἡμέρας (the day) ἀναδείξεως (of appearance) αὐτοῦ (of him) πρὸς (to) τὸν (-) Ἰσραήλ (Israel).
