John 8:6 Τοῦτο (This) δὲ (now) ἔλεγον (they were saying), πειράζοντες (testing) αὐτόν (Him) ἵνα (so that) ἔχωσιν* (they might have grounds) κατηγορεῖν (to accuse) αὐτοῦ (Him). ὁ (-) δὲ (But) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus), κάτω (down) κύψας (having stooped), τῷ (with) δακτύλῳ (His finger) κατέγραφεν* (began writing) εἰς (on) τὴν (the) γῆν (ground).
