John 18:37-38 Εἶπεν (Said) οὖν (therefore) αὐτῷ (to Him) ὁ (-) Πιλᾶτος (Pilate), “Οὐκοῦν (Then) βασιλεὺς (a king) εἶ (are) σύ (You)?” Ἀπεκρίθη (Answered) ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus), “Σὺ (You) λέγεις (say) ὅτι (that) βασιλεύς (a king) εἰμι (I am). ἐγὼ (I) εἰς (for) τοῦτο (this) γεγέννημαι (have been born), καὶ (and) εἰς (for) τοῦτο (this) ἐλήλυθα (I have come) εἰς (into) τὸν (the) κόσμον (world), ἵνα (that) μαρτυρήσω (I may bear witness) τῇ (to the) ἀληθείᾳ (truth). πᾶς (Everyone) ὁ (-) ὢν (being) ἐκ (of) τῆς (the) ἀληθείας (truth) ἀκούει (hears) μου (of Me) τῆς (the) φωνῆς (voice).”
