John 10:39-42 Ἐζήτουν (They were seeking) οὖν (therefore) αὐτὸν (Him) πάλιν (again) πιάσαι (to seize), καὶ (but) ἐξῆλθεν (He went forth) ἐκ (out of) τῆς (the) χειρὸς (hand) αὐτῶν (of them).

BIB⁽ⁱ⁾ ³⁹ Ἐζήτουν (They were seeking) οὖν (therefore) αὐτὸν (Him) πάλιν (again) πιάσαι (to seize), καὶ (but) ἐξῆλθεν (He went forth) ἐκ (out of) τῆς (the) χειρὸς (hand) αὐτῶν (of them). ⁴⁰ Καὶ (And) ἀπῆλθεν (He departed) πάλιν (again) πέραν (beyond) τοῦ (the) Ἰορδάνου (Jordan), εἰς (to) τὸν (the) τόπον (place) ὅπου (where) ἦν (was) Ἰωάννης (John) τὸ (-) πρῶτον (at first) βαπτίζων (baptizing). καὶ (And) ἔμεινεν* (He stayed) ἐκεῖ (there). ⁴¹ καὶ (And) πολλοὶ (many) ἦλθον (came) πρὸς (to) αὐτὸν (Him) καὶ (and) ἔλεγον (were saying) ὅτι (-), “Ἰωάννης (John) μὲν (indeed) σημεῖον (sign) ἐποίησεν (did) οὐδέν (no); πάντα (everything) δὲ (however) ὅσα (that) εἶπεν (said) Ἰωάννης (John) περὶ (about) τούτου (this man), ἀληθῆ (true) ἦν (was).” ⁴² καὶ (And) πολλοὶ (many) ἐπίστευσαν (believed) εἰς (in) αὐτὸν (Him) ἐκεῖ (there).
